How does Offline Video Playback work?
Offline Video Playback is now available on both the Sage Knowledge and Sage Research Methods platforms and includes the following functionalities:
- The user can download videos from the video content page for offline playback, as well as from the Search results page, and is able to access the videos through the web app or through the website, on Sage Research Methods - Offline (sagepub.com)
- Accessibility features: closed captions, playback rate, audio-description (when available)
- Video features: scrollable and searchable transcript, Metadata, Summary, Chapter Information
- Sort videos alphabetically
- COUNTER tracking
- Limit number of downloads for the same video
- Not applicable to toll-free links
Accessing the feature
Users can download videos from the Video content page:

Downloaded content can be accessed through the Offline Videos webapp
