CQ Magazine presents short news stories about what’s happening in Congress while CQ Researcher presents deep dive long form journalism around issues/debates in current events. Some say that CQ Magazine is where users go to find out what happened and who did it, while CQ Researcher is where users go to find out what it means, what its history is, what people think should happen next, and why certain audiences care.
CQ Magazine, formerly known as CQ Weekly, is focused more on what happened in Congress recently—very much focused on bills and legislation. Users can also find Congressional floor votes—summaries of the votes and roll call for each.
